We are seeking committed and compassionate Social Care Workers to support young people living in a residential care setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes safety, stability, emotional wellbeing, and positive life outcomes. You will contribute to creating a nurturing environment and play a key role in helping young people thrive.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide consistent, person-centred care and support to young people in line with individual care plans.
- →Promote independence, education, emotional wellbeing, and positive social development.
- →Work collaboratively within a trauma-informed, values-led team to support therapeutic care approaches.
- →Contribute to maintaining a safe, stable, and supportive residential environment.
- →Build trusting relationships with young people and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities.
- →Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties as required.
Requirements
~1 min read- Level 7 qualification or higher in Applied Social Care or a related discipline (CORU-approved or eligible).
- Full, clean manual driving licence.
- Willingness to work a flexible rota, including sleepovers and unsocial hours.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, professional standards, and young people’s rights.
