You will collaborate with professionals to support children and their families. You will manage cases involving children on child in need plans for short-term periods until step down or step up to ICPC, at which point cases transfer to the longer-term assessment service.

~1 min readYou need a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience as a social worker. You must have completed ASYE. You should have experience working with children and families in a safeguarding setting. You need knowledge and skills in dealing with section 47 enquiries, CIN, assessments, and planning. Effective communication skills are essential. You must be able to work both from home and the office (3 days a week in Liverpool, full week on-site during duty week). It is essential that you are a car driver and have access to a vehicle.
