Social Worker – Duty and Assessment Team

Liquid Personnel is looking for experienced and resilient Social Workers to join its client's Duty and Assessment Team based in Lancashire. This is a fast-paced role ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families at the point of referral.

• →Undertake initial assessments and Section 47 enquiries
• →Respond to referrals and complete timely risk assessments
• →Liaise with families, schools, and partner agencies to gather information and coordinate support
• →Make informed decisions about next steps for children and families
• →Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
• →Prepare reports and attend relevant meetings and court proceedings
• →Ensure compliance with Social Work England standards and council policies

• Social Work England registration
• Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Post-qualified experience in statutory children’s services
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong assessment and communication skills
