Liquid Personnel is looking for experienced and resilient Social Workers to join its client's Duty and Assessment Team based in Lancashire. This is a fast-paced role ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families at the point of referral.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake initial assessments and Section 47 enquiries
  • Respond to referrals and complete timely risk assessments
  • Liaise with families, schools, and partner agencies to gather information and coordinate support
  • Make informed decisions about next steps for children and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
  • Prepare reports and attend relevant meetings and court proceedings
  • Ensure compliance with Social Work England standards and council policies

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Post-qualified experience in statutory children’s services
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
