Training Facilitator- Incubation Hub

Purpose of position

The Training Facilitator (working 50% of time only) will equip Incubation Hub participants, e-mobility graduates, boda riders, and savings-group members with practical business, financial literacy, employability, and enterprise-development skills through engaging training and coaching. The role delivers programme-approved content, adapts sessions to participants’ needs, provides follow-up support, maintains accurate attendance and learning records, and shares timely feedback to strengthen programme quality and participant outcomes. The role is responsible for effective facilitation and participant support.

Main areas of responsibility

1. Incubation Hub Training

• Training within business fundamentals and entrepreneurship to hub participants every week
• Teaching within employability and soft skills to e-mobility graduates and to women and youth joining the sector.
• Run follow-up session on registering and formalising a business, for small businesses ready to take that step
• Support run the annual Green Business Bootcamp, and run the Shark Tank event

2. Coordination, Quality Assurance, Learning & Compliance

• Maintain records and reports
• Deliver timely monthly/quarterly reports
• Ensure lessons learnt are documented and shared.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in adult education, community development, business, or something similar.
• Business mentorship and coaching certificate would be great to have.
• Has worked with, digital financial literacy, or similar methods before is an added advantage.
• Previous experience working with boda riders and or similar informal groups on financial literacy and business development is an added advantage.
• Experience running trainings, coaching and/or group sessions for boda riders or similar groups, on business development and entrepreneurship skills
• Fluent in English, and Luganda. 
• Ability & flexibility to travel within Kampala and up Country when required.
