Apprentice Electrician

• →The Electrician Apprentice will assist the Electrician with basic tasks
• →Complete Maintenance work orders on electrical equipment.  Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, troubleshooting, repairing equipment and replacing defective parts.
• →Collaborate with other electrical staff to identify and resolve problems.  
• →Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• →Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• →Up-dates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

• 2-4 years of electrical apprenticeship preferred
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possessing the ability to understand schematics and technical manuals 

• Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.

• Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
