Mechanical Assembler

• →Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications
• →Perform this work in a specific area of a production line in our prefabrication shop
• →Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications
• →Work with electrical components like circuit breakers and electrical cabinet utilizing handheld tools like drills and screwdrivers.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

• Have a passion for working with your hands and solving problems
• Possess demonstrated mechanical ability
• Be able to read blueprints and work orders
• Be able to read/use a tape measure
• Possess basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills as well as a normal range of hearing and vision

• Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
• Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following: Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day, and standing
