Owns the physical execution of one project. The Superintendent decides how the work gets built, in what sequence, with what crews, and to what standard of safety and quality. If the work is built safely, productively and correctly, the Superintendent owns that outcome. The Superintendent is the Project Manager's equal partner in the field — not their subordinate — and the two are jointly accountable for the project's success.
