The Distributor Driver will work hand in hand with the paving crew superintendent to determine the prime schedule. The ideal candidate is familiar with paving operations in heavy hwy.

• →Responsible for the application of prime/oil on the road surface.
• →Must have experience operating a distributor truck, must know the proper heating levels, and how to regulate the spray bar.
• →Must know how to monitor gauges to ensure even distribution
• →Responsible for connecting hoses and regulating pumps
• →Keeping the distributor truck clean, performs daily preventative maintenance, record and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, checking and adding fluids as needed, Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• CDL required
• Must meet DOT employment requirements
• Minimum of 2 years' experience
• Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.

• Must be positive, friendly, and professional.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety policy, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
• Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.
• Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiatives, as required.

• Entry Level Position
• High School Diploma or GED but not required
• Knowledge of how the distributor unit operates
• Working knowledge of asphalt production and associated equipment, and an understanding of operations and safety requirements is preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, a plus

• Drivers may work at various locations, including construction sites, mines, and other heavy equipment operations.
• Employees must have the ability to perform sustained and vigorous activities in a variety of environments, temperatures, and weather conditions, which could include but not be limited to inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Exposure to grease, oils, and lubricants.
• Be available for overtime, extended hours, night shifts, and weekends as required.

• Some travel may be required as our operations span throughout Texas.
• Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
• Proper PPE is required at all times.
