Lyra Technology Group is looking for a Finance Manager to join the team at one of our operating companies, Altourage.  The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the finance department. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, manages the month-end close process, and assists in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities. 

Month-End Close and Financial Reporting

  • Manage and execute the monthly financial close processes.
  • Ensure all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Prepare the monthly financial reporting package for the leadership team.

Operational Accounting

  • Oversee daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and payroll processing.

Cash Management

  • Monitor daily cash balances, prepare cash flow projections, and optimize working capital.

 Continuous Audit Readiness

  • Maintain a perpetual state of audit readiness by ensuring pristine documentation and highly organized financial records.
  • Serve as primary contact for external auditors during bi-annual audits.

Process Optimization

  • Continuously evaluate finance department workflows, identifying and implementing process improvements and automations to increase efficiency.

Staff Development

  • Manage, mentor and evaluate the performance of the finance team, ensuring a high standard of work and adherence to accounting principles

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close procedures.
  • Experience managing AP, AR, billing, and payroll functions.
  • Prior experience supporting or leading external audits.
  • Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation.
