The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the daily operations of the GSOC to ensure the safety, security, and continuity of personnel, facilities, assets, and overall business operations. This role provides operational leadership and strategic direction while maintaining constant situational awareness across all assigned locations. The GSOC Manager supervises and develops a team of GSOC Operators and Analysts, ensuring all staff are properly trained, performance expectations are met, and standard operating procedures are consistently followed. The position is responsible for coordinating timely and effective responses to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, threats, and critical events while ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and escalation procedures are maintained. The GSOC Manager works closely with internal leadership teams, clients, law enforcement, emergency responders, and external partners to support crisis management, risk mitigation, and business continuity efforts. Additional responsibilities include monitoring security systems and technologies, evaluating operational effectiveness, implementing process improvements, managing staffing and scheduling, conducting quality assurance reviews, and ensuring compliance with company policies and client expectations. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 24/7 GSOC operations, ensuring full coverage and operational efficiency
  • Supervise, train, and develop GSOC staff, including scheduling and performance management
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, alarms, and global events
  • Lead incident response efforts and ensure proper escalation protocols are followed
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Coordinate with internal teams, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed
  • Analyze security trends and produce incident reports and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and security best practices
  • Manage GSOC systems such as CCTV, access control, and incident management platforms

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5+ years of GSOC or security operations experience
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of security systems and monitoring tools
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in report writing and incident documentation

Requirements

  • Familiarity with threat intelligence and risk analysis
  • Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or similar preferred; college degree preferred Work Details
