We are looking for a proactive, delivery-focused, and people-oriented Scrum Master who can enable high-performing Agile teams in a fast-paced product and engineering environment. The ideal candidate should be capable of driving Agile maturity, improving delivery predictability, managing risks and dependencies, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

This role goes beyond facilitating ceremonies - the Scrum Master is expected to act as an execution partner, coach, facilitator, and delivery enabler across cross-functional teams. 

What you'll be responsible for:  

Agile Delivery & Execution 

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Refinements, Reviews, and Retrospectives. 
• Drive sprint predictability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement. 
• Identify and proactively mitigate delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies. 
• Support teams in maintaining healthy backlogs and clear prioritization. 

Team Enablement & Coaching 

• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization. 
• Foster accountability, ownership, collaboration, and transparency within teams. 
• Help teams improve estimation quality, planning effectiveness, execution discipline and continuous learning and improvement.

Stakeholder Management 

• Act as a bridge between Engineering, Product, QA, Design, and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment between roadmap priorities and team execution. 
• Communicate delivery status, risks, escalations, and dependencies effectively. 
• Facilitate decision-making and alignment during ambiguity or changing priorities. 

Metrics & Process Improvement 

• Track and analyze Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint predictability, burndown, cycle time, throughput, and team health. 
• Use data-driven insights to improve delivery efficiency and team performance. 
• Drive process improvements across planning, execution, testing, release, and collaboration workflows. 
• Ensure Jira and Agile boards reflect accurate and up-to-date execution status. 

Cross-Team Coordination 

• Manage inter-team dependencies and release coordination. 
• Enable smooth collaboration across distributed or multi-functional teams. 
• Support release planning, testing coordination, and execution readiness. 

Agile Transformation & Culture 

• Drive Agile maturity initiatives and best practices across teams. 
• Promote psychological safety, open communication, and healthy team dynamics. 
• Help organizations adapt Agile practices for modern product delivery environments. 

What you'll bring to Maropost: 

• 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments. 
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles. 
• Experience working with software development teams in SaaS product or enterprise environments. 
• Strong facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills. 
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools. 
• Ability to manage multiple teams, competing priorities, and fast-changing environments. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities. 
• Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent. 
• Experience with scaled Agile environments (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, etc.). 
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and engineering delivery practices. 
• Experience working with distributed/global teams. 
• Understanding of product development lifecycle and modern engineering practices.
