Backend Engineer - After Sales & Ownership (f/m/x)

While some are optional, we would require your presence for certain team events and/or occasions.

In Aftersales & Ownership, we shape end-to-end experiences that support customers throughout their entire ownership journey. Our scope spans key Aftersales domains such as Service, Accident Management, and Parts Trading, with a strong focus on Customer Engagement. We aim to turn every digital touchpoint into a meaningful Mercedes-Benz brand experience.

Through the My Mercedes-Benz ecosystem, we translate real customer needs and cutting-edge technology into intuitive solutions that are trusted and valued worldwide

• Design, build, and maintain microservice-based backend applications using Kotlin

• Work closely with a cross-functional product team and collaborate with other engineering teams on backend-related topics

• Apply DevOps principles across the full software lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and operation

• Analyze technical and business challenges and work towards pragmatic, scalable solutions

• Contribute to the design of software and system architectures and support the creation of technical specifications based on proven design patterns

• Ensure high quality standards by improving test coverage, code quality, reliability, and security practices
