Intern - Finance & Accounting (Summer 2027) McCarthy-Bush Corporation

McCarthy Bush Corporation is currently seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern for Summer 2027. 

The Accounting Intern will gain practical experience in the daily functions of an accounting team, working alongside professionals to learn and apply core accounting skills. This role mirrors the responsibilities of our entry-level Accounting Assistants but on a shortened internship timeline. You will assist with accounts payable and receivable, data entry, reconciliations, and general ledger duties. In addition, you may support summer projects that focus on data analytics and financial reporting, giving you exposure to real-world applications of accounting principles.

What makes you successful in this position?

• You’re currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate from, an accounting; finance; business administration; or related field degree program.
• Strong analytical thinker with attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• An interest in data analytics and technology, with a desire to update and create processes.

All candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid drivers license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.  Reliable transportation is a must, as you may support accounting functions across multiple worksites in the QC area. Pay starts at $18/hour.
