Main Purpose of Job

This multifaceted position primarily supports a 24/7 inpatient substance use treatment program.� This position requires independently performing housekeeping and general services under general supervision (such as cleaning, routine building maintenance, fleet maintenance, moving furniture, and outdoor grounds care, etc.).� This includes but is not limited to routine construction work, grounds maintenance, routine preventive maintenance and making minor repairs or improvements to the facility.� This position will also assemble and disassemble furniture, move items as needed, participate in building inspections to ensure health & safety standards are met, and support inventory control.� This position required driving various vehicles including 15 passenger vans, tractors, power mowers and other equipment.\r\n

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.\r\n

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees in this classification may be subject to call-in 24 hours a day and, therefore, may be required to provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached.\r\n
