Main Purpose of Job

Provide overall supportive services for operation of the Directors Office. Requires performance of a variety of complex clerical and administrative duties.\r\n

POSITION DUTIES

\r\n Deliver administrative assistance to the Director and Directors Assistant; Provide quality customer service to all customers (internal and external) when interacting in person, by telephone or in writing according to established guidelines that meets or exceeds the standards set by the Department;�Assisting with Agency Inbox.�\r\n Assist with preparing and maintaining business calendars to include those of the Director, their Assistant, and other executive staff; Handles confidential information in general duties.�\r\n Manage responsibilities related to state vehicles, including coordinating and maintaining daily and monthly vehicle sign-up schedules.\r\n\r\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying.\r\nEducation: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.\r\nExperience: One year performing secretarial or clerical work involving typing duties. \r\nNotes: \r\n1. Additional secretarial or clerical experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education. \r\n2. Thirty credit hours with a major in secretarial science or office technology from an accredited college may be substituted at the rate of thirty credits for one year of experience.\r\n3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Administration classifications or Administrative, Clerical or Office Services Specialty codes in the Administrative Support field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.\r\n

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants�who possess the following preferred qualification(s).�Include clear and specific information on your application regarding�your qualifications.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n One year of experience managing a business calendar and/or\r\n scheduling.\r\n One year of experience in customer service responding to\r\n customer inquires.\r\n Six months of experience in handling confidential\r\n information.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated ability to accurately type on a�keyboard of�a personal computer at a minimum of forty words per minute may be required, depending on the specific requirements of the position.\r\n\r\n
