Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain security systems and protocols to protect the organisation’s infrastructure, applications, and data.

Conduct regular security assessments, and vulnerability scans/penetration tests using tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, NMAP, Metasploit.
→
Monitor security tools and systems, proactively identifying threats and responding to breaches.
→
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded across all operations.
→
Evaluate and integrate advanced security tools and technologies.
→
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security staff.

→
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
→
Information security knowledge on cloud and on-premises platforms on Linux, Windows and Kubernetes Environments.
→
5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity roles.
→
Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM, DLP, endpoint protection, and cloud security tools such as cloud based WAF, Cloud IDS.
→
Experience with technical controls as pertinent to ISO27001 and other regulatory frameworks.
→
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
→
Knowledgeable on CVE scoring and familiarity with OWASP security risks.
→
Deep understanding of network protocols, architecture, and threat landscape.
→
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly desirable.
