The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) will work within the ICFs to develop progress notes, assessments, and evaluations required by regulations, and to train and mentor the support team.

Responsibilities

→Collaborate with the Merakey team to create and implement all Individual Service Plans
→Conduct training related to the ISPs for the consumer and Direct Support Professionals
→Work within multidisciplinary settings with physicians, nurses, direct support staff, etc.
→Provide ongoing communication with the Regional Center’s liaison or case worker regarding the consumer’s status

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, human services, sociology, or a related field.
1-2 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
2 years’ experience in a leadership or management capacity
Must be able to oversee caseloads and manage localized case file compliance at the Redding site.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
