EngineeringProject & Program Management

Mill is a waste prevention technology company reimagining what it means to eliminate waste, starting with food. We build smart systems and infrastructure for homes, businesses, and municipalities that transform food scraps from landfill-bound waste into valuable resources, including chicken feed. Tens of thousands of Mill’s residential food recyclers are already helping households divert millions of pounds of food scraps every year, paving the way for our upcoming launch of Mill Commercial—the industry’s first end-to-end solution for managing, understanding, and preventing food waste in commercial environments (e.g. grocery, restaurants, food services). At Mill, we are passionate about building easy-to-use, beautifully designed technologies that keep food in the food system and out of landfills.

We are looking for a seasoned Senior NPI Program Manager with technical and operations experience to lead the end-to-end development and launch of new products for Mill.

As the primary leader for managing a program, you will drive cross-functional teams through the full hardware lifecycle – from initial concept to mass production – in partnership with design and manufacturing partners. You’ll apply your seasoned experience to lead and guide internal and external teams to hit aggressive schedules, cost targets, and quality requirements.

  • Build and maintain the program schedule with dependencies and key milestones and the program budget to ensure the program is operating within approved budget guardrails.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and key risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the program on track.
  • Provide clear, concise updates to executive leadership regarding program health and launch readiness

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Technical Program Management and/or Operations Program Management experience on appliances or consumer electronics products.
  • Program Management experience working directly with manufacturers from design through mass production.
