The Associate, Basketball Operations will work in a fast-paced environment, being exposed to a variety of experiences across the Monumental Basketball platform. This role will actively contribute to the day-to-day operations of various Monumental Basketball departments including Player Engagement, Operations, Equipment, Strategy, Scouting, and Facilities where the opportunity will be given to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the chance to help support the operations, logistics, and administration in support of the Wizards, Mystics, and Go-Go. You will work both with the team and independently on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operations at MHPC and work with departmental operations leads.
  • Design and implement systems to track department processes, projects, meetings, and activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations team on the platform’s team operations, logistics, and administration.
  • Build Excel tools and processes to enhance the strategy, budget, facilities, administration and equipment operations within Monumental Basketball.
  • Assist with various game day responsibilities, including pre-game setup, in-game statistical charting, and post-game analysis reporting.
  • Work in partnership with the rest of the Monumental Basketball team.
  • Assist in directing fellow Basketball Operations Associates on projects throughout the year.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of team operations within a basketball context.
  • Excellent analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate integrity, dependability, and adherence to confidentiality protocols.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
