Job Summary:

• 
  Drives a standard pick-up truck to deliver products to customers and will call products from vendors
• 
  Helps Material Handler with the following:
  • 
    Receives, processes, stores, transfers, and stages incoming purchase orders
  • 
    Pulls and ships outgoing sales orders
  • 
    Manages materials in the warehouse, including bin locations and accurate inventory counts.
• 
  Transfers materials between locations and/or relocates materials within warehouse

General Accountabilities:

• 
  Loads and unloads the delivery vehicle
• 
  Secures loads properly for safety of goods and to meet DMV requirements
• 
  Obtains customer signature on ship confirmation for receipt of delivery
• 
  Communicates using Slack for deliveries and will calls
• 
  Required to use hand truck and forklift or other material handling equipment as well as UPS machines
• 
  Follows safe working habits with material handling equipment
• 
  Completes double check of orders before delivery for completeness and accuracy
• 
  Establishes a good working relationship with customers. Listens to and helps resolve any customer complaints
• 
  Recommends improvements in current practices to promote efficiency, faster service and lower costs
• 
  Cooperates and coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth and timely flow of materials
• 
  Effectively and accurately enters data and interfaces with DDI Inform
• 
  Pays attention to and tracks vehicle mileage and performance to ensure maintenance is done on time and avoids breakdowns or serious problems
• 
  Maintains general order and cleanliness of warehouse and delivery vehicles, including removal of trash, recycling, and pallets
• 
  Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Job Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum Education: High School or GED
• 
  Interpersonal and customer service skills required
• 
  Valid driver’s license
• 
  Clean driving record
• 
  Fluent in English

Pay Range and Description of Benefits:

• Salary Range:  $19.00 to $25.00/hr
• Starting Range:  $19.00 to $21.00/hr

• Paid Vacation:  1 week after 1st year, 2 weeks after 2nd year, 3 weeks after 5th year
