MSU Food Collective Centre (FCC) Promotions Coordinator
Quick Summary
Reports to: Food Collective Centre Director through the Assistant Director
Hours: Approx 4 hours per week
Contract: Sept 1 - April 30 (potentially some summer prep work)
Food Collective Centre is a service run by students dedicated to cultivating stronger food systems in the McMaster and surrounding community. We offer a number of support resources that are available for everyone: Students, Alumni, Staff, and Hamilton Community Partners to access.

The Food Collective Centre Promotions Coordinator will be responsible for the promotion of Food Collective Centre events to the McMaster Community. The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for the creation of those promotional materials as well as the creation of promotional plans for Food Collective Centre events in partnership with the Food Collective Centre Director, other executives, and Underground Media + Design. The Promotions Coordinator will work closely with the Food Collective Centre Director and Events Coordinator to ensure effective promotion for all events.

- Maintain confidentiality of all individuals accessing Food Collective Centre services
- Effort required to think creatively
- Effort required to design and implement promotional campaigns

an appropriate and positive image of the MSU
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a shared space
- Time demands may exceed stated hours of work
Training and Experience
- Graphic design experience is an asset
- Social media management is an asset
- Advertising experience is an asset
- Experience with Food Collective Centre as a volunteer and/or user is an asset
- Anti-Oppression training (provided)
- Other necessary training will be provided
