Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II

Graduation from a Cardiovascular / Ultrasound program or equivalent experience, and certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, PE), or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) certification in Pediatrics by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required; Fetal Echocardiography (FE) preferred. Associate of Arts/Science or a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two years minimum pediatric echocardiography work experience in performing M-Mode, 2-D, 3-D, Doppler, and color Doppler required. Fetal Echo and research experience preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and complex congenital heart disease, pre and post-operatively, required. Echocardiography experience in the setting of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Cath Lab preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, PE), or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) certification in Pediatrics by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required; Fetal Echocardiography (FE) preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, from the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent).
