In this role you will act as a liaison and provide support for Life Insurance and Annuity sales activities. You will partner with Regional Vice President’s in growing and developing strategic relationships with National Life Group’s Affiliated distribution partners. You will be responsible for providing product analysis, illustration, and case design, and aligning resources to drive sales in the National Life Group Affiliated Channel. You will form strong partnerships with agencies to ensure mutually beneficial relationships with an emphasis on customer service, business development, profitability, and retention. This role requires a relationship builder with a sales focus, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong work ethic, a passion for life and annuity products, and a competitive drive to succeed. This involves working internally with various business and operations units, including the Sales Desk, and with selected agents, agencies, Regional Vice Presidents, and NLG external wholesalers.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage strong working relationships with internal and external partners to provide enhanced customer service for all sales and service operations.
  • Conduct training, both in person and virtual, on products, processes, and services offered by National Life Group
  • Actively consult and advise agencies and agents to provide them with value-added strategies to increase their book of business and create effective campaigns to achieve growth goals.
  • Partner with Regional Vice President’s in the development of business plans to acquire, grow, and strengthen existing relationships
  • Recommend solutions, create action plans, and resolve operational issues.
  • Support agencies and agents with product selection, case design, and illustration fulfillment.
  • Assist with product launches and training initiatives.
  • Travel to agency and agent offices as needed for onboarding and training, and general Regional Vice President support.
  • Organize Home Office visits when appropriate.
  • Assist onboarding new relationships with National Life Group to quickly grow and develop business.
  • Maintain an active understanding of the competitive landscape and current industry trends to create innovative solutions designed to meet customer needs

 

Requirements

  • Preferred candidates will have experience in life and/or annuity product distribution ith a focus on indexed products and living benefits
  • Preferred industry designations include Series 7; Series 63; Series 65 (or Series 66) and Series 24 registrations.
  • Additional industry designations include CLU®, ChFC®, and CFP®
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of your time, growing and developing agency relationships
  • 2–5 years of life insurance industry experience.
  • Understanding of life and annuity products and operations.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to follow-through.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and work effectively under pressure.
