Welder - 2nd Shift

Position Summary: As a Welder at New Flyer in Shepherdsville, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our production processes.

• Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of TIG welding.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and tools effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks and lift heavy materials.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Hourly Wage Rate: $30.32/hr plus $1.50.hr Shift Differential

Standard Hours: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

• →Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• →Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders.
• →Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques to fabricate and assembler components.
• →Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Make necessary adjustments as required.
• →Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• →Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and ensure smooth workflow.
