Senior Solutions Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect for Innovations, you will lead solution design and technical strategy for the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) program. You’ll define architectures, create technical roadmaps, and integrate emerging technologies while working with executive leadership, engineering teams, and government stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture & Design ✅ Own the architecture and technical design for a large-scale AWS cloud-based platform. ✅ Develop complex solution architectures, ensuring alignment with DISA’s strategic goals. ✅ Implement modern technologies like SDN, AIOps, AI/ML, Elasticsearch, and Kafka. ✅ Author design documentation, requirements, and technical roadmaps. ✅ Resolve complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration & Leadership ✅ Partner with Chief Architect, engineering leads, and customer stakeholders to drive solutions. ✅ Present technical solutions and innovations to senior government customers. ✅ Guide technical teams through implementation and troubleshooting. ✅ Support business development efforts by authoring whitepapers, RFI responses, and trade studies. Growth & Innovation ✅ Conduct analysis of alternatives, trade studies, and cost-benefit analyses. ✅ Identify opportunities for new solutions, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation. ✅ Support proposal development and cost estimation for future GSM-O II capabilities.
