Position: Registered Nurse - Treatment, Kellogg Cancer Center
Location: Highland Park Hospital/Kellogg Cancer Center - Highland Park, IL
Full Time | 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8am - 6pm, 4 days-10 hour shifts, no weekends or holidays

Responsibilities

→Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center
→Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
→Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products
→Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
→Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
→Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

→Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
→Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred
→Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
→Experience: Oncology and/or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred.
