We are currently seeking a Business Consulting Business Analyst-System Migrations to join our team in Mckinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). BA We are looking for a Business Analyst. Business analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Business analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. Responsibilities * Perform discovery and analysis of requirements based on current system functions, and business needs * elicit business requirements * translate business requirements to functional requirements * clarify any questions engineering team have * Produce Data maps between source and target systems. * Interpret data and analyze results. * Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. * Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems. * Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. * Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. * Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. * Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Project co-ordination. Preferred Skills * Proven working experience as a business analyst or business data analyst. * Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques * Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. * Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings. * Experience in system migrations efforts preferred. Education * Bachelors degree in a related field. Preferred Experience * 3 years of Interpreting data, analyzing results. * 3 years in Data mapping projects * 3 years of SQL * Strong communication skills * Life insurance industry experience is a plus.
