You will be responsible for supporting end-to-end loan processing for an Australian mortgage brokerage, ensuring all applications are handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements. This is a delivery-focused role, and responsibilities may extend beyond those listed below to ensure service standards, turnaround times, and client expectations are consistently met.

You will assist brokers throughout the loan lifecycle, including document collection, loan lodgement, and post-settlement activities, while providing administrative and client support. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in relevant systems such as Broker Engine CRM, along with a solid understanding of Australian lending processes.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collect and review client documents to ensure completeness and accuracy for loan applications.
  • Prepare and lodge loan applications in line with lender and compliance requirements.
  • Use serviceability calculators to assess borrowing capacity and support loan structuring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Broker Engine CRM and other relevant systems.
  • Liaise with clients, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders to progress applications and resolve issues.
  • Provide timely updates to clients and brokers regarding application status.
  • Ensure all documentation and processes comply with internal policies and Australian lending regulations.
  • Support post-settlement activities, including follow-ups, documentation, and client care.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service across all interactions.

You will be fully trained in the specific requirements, and you will be responsible to prioritise your daily workload.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in a Loan Support or Mortgage Broking support role.
  • Experience using Broker Engine CRM is required.
  • Strong understanding of loan processing, document requirements, and lending workflows.
  • Ability to use serviceability calculators confidently and accurately.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
