We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our engineering team — building the advertising platform that powers Ogury’s personified advertising technology, delivering privacy-safe campaigns to audiences worldwide.

This role goes beyond feature delivery. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll influence technical direction, raise engineering standards, and help teams make better long-term decisions around performance, quality, and maintainability — across a platform serving billions of ad impressions globally.

You’ll act as a technical mentor for our wider front-end community and a key partner to our Product, Data Science, and Commercial teams — working on our adtech platform, built in-house to deliver personified advertising without tracking individual users.

Responsibilities

→Drive front-end architecture decisions – component design, state management, and application structure across the platform
→Lead complex implementations – design and deliver front-end solutions using React, NextJS, and TypeScript at scale
→Shape shared design systems – contribute to the front-end standards used across our product suite
→Mentor and elevate engineers – provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and pairing
→Partner cross-functionally – act as senior technical partner to Product, Data Science, and Commercial from discovery through to delivery
→Own critical user journeys – ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, performance, and resilience across advertiser-facing and internal tools
→Build and evolve APIs – consume and contribute to GraphQL and REST APIs; contribute to Node.js backend services where required
→Champion engineering best practices – code quality, testing strategy, performance optimisation, and security
→Stay ahead of the curve – attend conferences, bring new ideas back, and apply front-end trends pragmatically
→Identify and resolve risk – surface technical constraints and opportunities across CI/CD, developer experience, and delivery flow

Significant commercial experience as a Senior Front-End or Full-Stack Engineer in large-scale production environments
Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
Deep experience with React and NextJS (or equivalent modern front-end frameworks)
Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design
Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and supporting their technical growth
Strong communication skills and a track record of collaborating with Product, Data, and Commercial teams
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle including testing, CI/CD, and automation

Experience working in adtech, programmatic advertising, or high-throughput data platforms
Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and front-end performance monitoring
Familiarity with AWS or GCP and Infrastructure as Code
Event-driven or distributed system exposure
A strong DevOps mindset and comfort working in containerised environments
Exposure to privacy-by-design architectures or data clean rooms
