Site Reliability Engineer - Datacenter & Cloud Ops

Overview: As a Site Reliability Engineer at OneMind Cloud Services, your primary responsibility will be to manage our datacenter inventory and ensure the reliability and optimal performance of our infrastructure. This role requires a blend of skills in system administration, inventory management, and reliability engineering, with a focus on maintaining high uptime and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the datacenter inventory, ensuring all hardware and software components are accounted for and properly maintained. Implement and maintain tools for monitoring and reporting on the health and performance of datacenter infrastructure. Conduct regular audits of datacenter equipment to identify and rectify any issues proactively. Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of datacenter components. Develop and enforce best practices for inventory management and system reliability. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory management. Respond to and resolve system outages and performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in datacenter management and reliability engineering. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in managing datacenter inventory and ensuring system reliability. Strong knowledge of system administration and network management. Experience with monitoring tools and automation software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services. Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
