With roots in Pacifico Energy, established in 2012 in Japan, Pacifico Group has expanded its presence across the United States, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accountant to join our San Juan Capistrano team in a multifaceted role supporting accounting, financial administration, and general coordination. This role may support work across Pacifico Group and affiliated entities, as well as select principal-related matters, and is well suited for someone who enjoys variety, exercises sound judgment, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

This role reports directly to the CFO / Managing Director.

The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of both financial and administrative responsibilities with professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions

  • Maintain financial schedules and ledgers in compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Perform intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities within Pacifico Group

  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, as needed

  • Organize tax documentation for principals, nonprofits, partnerships, and related entities, coordinating with external tax advisors as needed

  • Manage principal bill pay, household staff payroll, and related credit card reconciliations

  • Collect and reconcile business documentation to expense reports and credit card statements

  • Organize and maintain entity documents, accounting records, and supporting files

  • Assist in the development and improvement of accounting processes

  • Support special projects and ad hoc requests, as needed
