Role Overview
Lead the architectural evolution of a complex airline and loyalty platform ecosystem undergoing major transformation. The role requires a hands-on, delivery-focused architect who can balance long-term architectural vision with practical implementation in a fast-changing environment.

 
Key Responsibilities:



  • Define and evolve end-to-end architecture across digital platforms, services, and integrations.
  • Design scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions for airline, loyalty, and customer-facing systems.
  • Support modernization initiatives while enabling coexistence between legacy and new platforms.
  • Establish API, integration, and service design standards across teams.
  • Lead architectural decisions for large-scale transformation and migration programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, delivery, and business stakeholders to align priorities and dependencies.
  • Promote modern engineering practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, automation, and DevOps.
  • Ensure security, compliance, operational resilience, and maintainability are built into solutions.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leaders, maintaining clear architectural documentation and roadmaps.


Required Experience:



  • 8+ years in Solutions, Software, or Platform Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with distributed systems, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience in airline, travel, loyalty, or customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Proven ability to work in transformation programs with evolving requirements and high ambiguity.
  • Deep understanding of API-first, microservices, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • AWS or GCP
  • Microservices architecture
  • API-first design
  • Event-driven systems
  • Distributed systems
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Observability and monitoring platforms
  • Secure platform and API design
  • Familiarity with Java, Python, or TypeScript


Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-scale integration and modernization programs.
  • AWS or GCP certifications.
