With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, they specialise in application development from scratch, continuous improvement, API’s and reporting. What you will be doing: Design and implement resilient, end-to-end cloud-native solutions on both AWS and Azure. Serve as the chief technical advisor, translating business goals into clear cloud/technology roadmaps for executive leadership. Lead discovery workshops and collaborate across business units to define requirements and technical strategy. Provide direct, high-quality technical leadership and mentorship to architects, developers, and engineering teams. Drive best practices in scalability, high availability, cost optimisation, and security across all solutions. Oversee the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and contribute production-grade code. Ensure rigorous adherence to cloud security standards, compliance, and governance policies in all designs. Systematically recommend strategic services/platforms and stay current with disruptive trends in cloud, software development, and AI/ML. What our client is looking for: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional and Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with strong, hands-on experience designing and optimising architectures in both AWS and Microsoft Azure (multi-cloud environment). Must apply the respective Well-Architected Framework principles. Deep knowledge of core services in either AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation) and Azure (Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Active Directory). Extensive experience with modern patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs, and proficiency in backend languages (Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or Go) and/or JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong command of DevOps practices, Git, Docker/Kubernetes, and building CI/CD pipelines in AWS and/or Azure. Experience using cloud-native AI/ML services from both vendors (e.g., AWS SageMaker/Bedrock, Azure Machine Learning/OpenAI Service). Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex concepts to C-suite/executive stakeholders, combined with a strategic and commercial mindset to align technology with business outcomes. Proven ability to work independently, drive consensus across distributed teams, and combine a hands-on development mindset with strategic cloud architecture thinking.
