We are a hybrid, remote-office company dedicated to growing our talent anywhere!

We have onsite locations in: Sioux Falls, SD,  Scottsdale, AZ,  Louisville, KY,  Troy, MI,  Franklin, TN,  Easton, PA.

At Pathward, we take tremendous pride in our purpose to create financial inclusion for all™. We are a financial empowerment company that works with innovators to increase financial availability, choice, and opportunity for all.  We strive to remove barriers that traditional institutions put in the way of financial access, and promote economic mobility by providing responsible, secure, high quality financial products.

We are a team of problem solvers and innovators who celebrate our differences and know that our unique perspectives make us stronger and well-positioned for success.  We celebrate, and embrace, our team members through our *HUMBLE*HUNGRY*SMART approach, and we believe that we are strongest when we embrace the voices of our employees, customers, partners, and the communities we serve.

We’re looking for a Product Commercialization Program Manager to help enhance Faster Payments capabilities to market, including Visa Direct and Mastercard Send (push-to-card, payouts, disbursements, and other real-time money movement solutions). This role is ideal for someone who understands how payment products move from strategy to launch and how to balance growth, scalability, partner readiness, regulatory expectations, and operational execution along the way.

You’ll work across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, legal, networks, processors, fintech partners, and sponsor bank stakeholders to turn complex product strategies into practical commercialization plans. The right candidate will be a strong program leader, clear communicator, and payments-savvy operator who can connect the dots across highly matrixed teams and help launch solutions responsibly at scale.

  • Lead commercialization workstreams for Faster Payments capabilities, from product strategy through launch readiness and scale.
  • Translate product strategy into clear launch plans, partner readiness requirements, operating models, governance artifacts, and adoption support.
  • Drive alignment across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and partner teams to remove roadblocks and support timely decision-making.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous initiatives, define execution paths, and keep stakeholders focused on outcomes, risks, and dependencies.
  • Partner with technology, architecture, operations, processors, networks, and fintech platforms to support integration planning and launch execution.
  • Help define scalable product standards, including technology expectations, data requirements, certification needs, network obligations, and go-live criteria.
  • Support readiness assessments that identify technical, operational, compliance, and partner gaps before launch.
  • Identify dependencies and risks early, create practical mitigation plans, and help teams move from one-off execution to repeatable delivery.
  • Work with risk, compliance, legal, operations, and other control partners to ensure product designs and launch plans align with applicable requirements.
  • Develop and maintain commercialization documentation, including product standards, guidelines, procedures, training materials, and governance artifacts.
  • Apply working knowledge of U.S. payments-related regulatory considerations, including privacy, Reg E touchpoints, UDAAP, operational compliance, and issue management.
  • Prepare crisp executive updates, risk summaries, and recommendations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Develop and evaluate business cases tied to disbursements, payouts, P2P, partner-led money movement, and other Faster Payments use cases.
  • Use product performance, operational metrics, partner feedback, market trends, and risk indicators to inform prioritization and scaling decisions.
  • Communicate complex topics for technical, operational, partner, and executive audiences.
  • 8+ years of experience in product commercialization, payments, fintech, sponsor banking, embedded finance, operations, program management, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience launching, scaling, or operationalizing bank products, payment capabilities, or partner-led financial services programs.
  • Experience with Visa Direct, Mastercard Send, push-to-card, payouts, disbursements, or comparable Faster Payments capabilities strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of bank program operations and partner ecosystems, including processors, networks, fintech platforms, program managers, and sponsor bank models.
  • Ability to build product documentation including standards, guidelines, training materials, commercialization standards, business cases, launch materials, and governance-ready recommendations.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, manage cross-functional dependencies, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

The responsibilities listed above are not all inclusive and may be changed at any time.

Salary range: $104,000– $174,000
