Responsibilities

→Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably a BS in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering).
→8+ years of professional experience working in Engineering
→PE license in Pa or able obtain PE within 6 months of their start date.

Preferred Attributes:

→Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractor, owner, regulatory agencies
→Ability to develop budgets and geotechnical scopes, ability to develop comprehensive calculation packages suitable for review by regulatory agencies
→Advanced knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation design as well as slope stability and geotechnical instrumentation
→Knowledge of IBC and Construction testing (e.g., concrete, masonry, fireproofing, structural steel, etc.
→Experience in dam design/analysis
→Experience with local DOT methods and procedures. (e.g., DelDOT, MDSHA, DDOT, NJDOT, PADOT)
