EASA (Electrical Apparatus Service Association) is the international association serving and representing companies in the electric motor, pump and apparatus repair, service and sales industry. From its engineering staff, technical resources, training, exclusive software and other services, EASA provide its members unparalleled expertise for the electromechanical sales, service and repair industry.
Due to the pending retirement of its current leader, EASA has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Executive Director to serve as our President & CEO. This role will shape the future of this association by leading its strategic initiatives and programs. This pivotal role offers the chance to partner with EASA’s Board of Directors and to lead its staff to expand the association’s impact and achieve the vision of the organization. EASA offers competitive compensation, including a base salary of $200,000 - $225,000 plus bonus.
The generous benefits package includes:

This position will ideally work out of EASA’s office located in St. Louis, Missouri (Olivette area).
Requirements
~1 min read· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline.
· Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible executive leadership experience.
· Demonstrated success leading teams, managing budgets, and implementing strategic initiatives.
· Experience working effectively with Boards of Directors and volunteer leadership.
· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
· Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally. (approximately 15%)
· Excellent marketing, advertising/public relations, organizational, staff management, and financial skills;
· Strong interpersonal, communications, and public speaking skills;
· Ability to serve as an industry or association expert;
· Preferred: Certified Association Executive (CAE)
Responsibilities

· Lead organizational change initiatives to implement and execute EASA’s strategic plan;
· Identify opportunities to expand member services, education, certificate programs, technical resources, and global engagement;
· Develop and lead 20+ staff employees to implement programs, technical support, member services, marketing, and finance;
· Manage business affairs including legal, financial, consultants, and other vendors;
· Ensure strong governance and board relations;
· Develop and oversee the budget to ensure sound fiscal status;
· Provide executive leadership for the Annual EASA Convention and other Association conferences, educational programs, and technical events;
· Ensure educational offerings, Annual EASA Convention and certificate programs continue to meet evolving industry needs;
· Represent the organization as a leader within the industry, including participation in meetings, speaking engagements, and serving as the principal spokesperson of EASA.
