Maintenance Technician

PHMC serves as both a direct service provider to individuals, families, and communities across the region and an intermediary agent, managing large-scale contracts, government and philanthropic partnerships, and multidisciplinary initiatives that require operational sophistication, strategic leadership, and deep mission alignment.

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to respond to directions
• Willingness to work overtime to resolve emergencies
• Ability to deal effectively with people, especially residents and site staff
• Ability to physically perform the required manual duties
• Valid Pa. Driver’s License is required

• →Perform, coordinate, supervise, and oversee all repairs and improvements of the physical plant and campus.
• →Maintain a healthy and safe facility.
• →Service all machinery, appliances, and tools.
• →Maintain and update files of warranties and service contracts on all equipment.
• →Perform daily maintenance duties.
• →Conduct weekly inspections of the building to ensure compliance with regulations.
• →Ensure the building is adequately supplied.
• →Complete all work orders within 24 hrs.
• →Perform daily preventative maintenance duties.
• →Maintain 24hr on call coverage.
• →Maintain the IHW maintenance log.
• →Maintain kitchen equipment. Secure service as needed.
• →Maintain outside grounds.
• →Ensure trash is picked up by vendor.
• →Maintain agency vehicle.
• →Conduct fire drills every month to ensure compliance with regulations.
• →Provide transport as needed.
• →Ensure proper storage of food and household supplies.

• Good organizational skills.

• At least two years of experience in maintenance and groundskeeping work.

• High School Diploma/GED or Graduation from an accredited trade school.
