Claims Team Lead, Rental

We are currently seeking Team Lead for our Rental Management Unit to join our growing Personal Lines Auto team in our Parsippany, NJ.

The IA Auto Rental Team Lead role will assist the Rental Supervisor in the daily operation of the Rental Team.  This person will assist the Rental group with supporting Rental Technicians and working with varying levels of experience who handle Rental Loss assignments in accordance with state specific regulations and our policy coverage framework. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Rental process in our geographic footprint of MA, PA, NJ, CT, NY and NH.  This will be a working role, handling a small pending of rental assignments as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and control the work of Rental Technicians, who review and process rental daily assignments.
• Effectively manage the daily flow of new Rental assignments working with the Rental Team.
•  Handle some Rental assignments on a daily basis.
• Work with ease through the ARMS Enterprise and Hertz rental management systems.
• Become familiar work and respond to trends in our Rental Dashboard.
• The ability to work our Rental Inventory to ensure a 100% close ratio.
• Monitor unit goals for service, production, and work quality.
• Plan unit workflow and monitor assignment of claims to Team Members based on volume.
• Promote teamwork through effective leadership.
• Review active and closed files in compliance with Quality Assurance program to identify trends and assist the Rental Supervisor.
• Conduct training on a group and individual basis on all aspects of the job.
•  Assist the Rental Supervisor in other duties as identified.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2+ years prior claim experience.
• Arms & Hertz Management experience preferred.
• Display of leadership capability.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to exercise independent judgment.
• Have a working knowledge of claim applications, including Image Right, Stream, and the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  
  

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.​
