Responsibilities

→Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates;
→Train new employees on company standards and procedures;
→Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity;
→Receiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse;
→Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating;
→Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership,
→Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies;
→Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively;
→Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback;
→Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations;
→Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency;
→Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment;
→Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods;
→Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues;
→Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position;
Strong leadership and team management skills;
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;
Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite;
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs);
Prolonged periods of standing and walking;
Have a valid forklift license (Considered an asset not a requirement)
Possess valid documentation to authorize you to work in Canada.
