Special Education Resource Teacher (Elementary & Middle School)

At Prelude Prep, our special education team works closely with classroom teachers and leadership to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive. • →Serve as the case manager for students receiving resource services.
• →Provide specialized instruction in small-group settings aligned to students' IEP goals.
• →Support students through push-in and pull-out services as appropriate.
• →Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• →Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented effectively.
• →Participate in ARD meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs.
• →Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support.
• →Use data to make instructional decisions and adjust interventions.
• →Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements.
• →Participate in professional development and contribute positively to the school community.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Special Education certification.

• Experience serving students in a resource setting.
• Experience with ARD meetings and IEP implementation.
• Knowledge of evidence-based reading and math interventions.
• Strong organizational and data-tracking skills.
