The Branch Ambassador is the first point of contact for members and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive branch experience. This role supports members with everyday banking needs, promotes digital banking tools and self-service options, and connects members with the appropriate team members and services. The position combines member service, administrative support, and front-line banking responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Welcome members and visitors and provide a professional, friendly branch experience
  • Monitor branch traffic flow and direct members to the appropriate service area or team member
  • Assist members with ATMs, online banking, mobile banking, e-statements, direct deposit, and other digital banking services
  • Demonstrate and promote self-service technologies and digital tools
  • Support members with account-related inquiries and escalate concerns when appropriate
  • Schedule appointments and assist members in preparing required documentation
  • Support account opening activities and explain products and services to members
  • Perform front-line banking transactions, including balancing daily cash and processing wire transfers
  • Issue and activate debit cards and maintain related inventory controls
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional branch environment
  • Provide administrative support including mail handling, filing, report distribution, and member correspondence


What You Have:

Required Education and Experience

  • Certificate or diploma in Business, Office Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years of customer service or sales experience, preferably within the financial services industry

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional member service
  • Comfort using and demonstrating digital banking tools and technology
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when handling member inquiries
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems, products, and processes
