Responsibilities
~1 min readYou will facilitate therapeutic group sessions to help individuals improve their speech and communication skills. You will build rapport with service users, encouraging their engagement and empowering their recovery. You will utilize your specialist skills to manage complex cases, considering cultural and linguistic differences, and develop appropriate strategies for caseload management. You will conduct audits and contribute to research to enhance treatment provision. You will apply your specialist knowledge in neuro-behavioural, brain injury, and specialist care.

- HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- must have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree/qualification.
- should have at least 2 years’ clinical experience, with at least a year of adult acute experience. Ideally, they need previous NHS experience.
- must be dysphagia trained, signed off competencies and able to see patients independently.
- must have established knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions for patients with swallowing and communication difficulties.
