Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian - West Midlands

Job Title: Paediatric Dietitian
Location: Walsall
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3-6 Months (with a view to extend)
Hourly Rate: £32 - £35
Working Hours: Full-Time. 37.5 hours per week

• →Manage a paediatric caseload across acute and community services.
• →Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments for paediatric patients.
• →Develop and implement individualised treatment and dietary management plans.
• →Support the management of a large paediatric waiting list of approximately 200 patients.
• →Deliver face-to-face consultations across hospital and community settings.
• →Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
• →Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.

• Hold a recognised qualification in Dietetics.
• Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Have experience working within paediatric dietetics.
• Demonstrate experience managing paediatric caseloads within acute and/or community settings.
• Possess strong nutritional assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Be confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous NHS experience is desirable.
