Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Specialist Clinical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including administration, imaging, and image processing. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including radiographers, nuclear medicine physicians, and healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient care. Additionally, you will maintain high standards of imaging quality, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Strong patient handling and communication skills are essential for this role.
Requirements
~1 min read- HCPC, RCT, or AHCS registration (preferred).Degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in operating GE gamma cameras and nuclear medicine imaging.
- Expertise in venepuncture, cannulation, and radiopharmaceutical administration.
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
