Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry - Birmingham

• →Provide expert psychiatric care within a CAMHS inpatient setting, specifically within a General Adolescent Unit (GAU)
• →Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for young people
• →Act as the Responsible Clinician (RC) and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA)
• →Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centred care
• →Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to service development and clinical governance

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise (essential)
• Section 12 approval (essential)
• Approved Clinician (AC) status (essential)
• Extensive experience in CAMHS, inpatient psychiatry, and GAU settings
• Previous experience in a consultant role
