Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide expert psychiatric care within a CAMHS inpatient setting, specifically within a General Adolescent Unit (GAU)
- →Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for young people
- →Act as the Responsible Clinician (RC) and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA)
- →Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centred care
- →Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to service development and clinical governance
Requirements
~2 min read- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise (essential)
- Section 12 approval (essential)
- Approved Clinician (AC) status (essential)
- Extensive experience in CAMHS, inpatient psychiatry, and GAU settings
- Previous experience in a consultant role
