Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the team in Gloucester. This specialist care facility provides 24-hour nursing and therapy services for individuals with complex long-term neurological conditions.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe and efficient medication management, working closely with GPs, nursing teams, and pharmacy providers to support service users and maintain compliance with best practice standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage medication ordering, dispensing, and timely delivery on-site.
- →Act on safety alerts and ensure secure storage of medicines.
- →Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative care planning.
- →Support clinical governance, audits, and service development initiatives.
- →Deliver staff training on medication management and maintain GPhC compliance.
Requirements
~1 min read- Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Practice (or equivalent BTEC/NVQ Level 3).
- Minimum of two years’ supervised experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and non-clinical teams.
