In order to drive our next phase of growth in mobile, we are expanding the Product Development and Test Engineering group at Taiwan office. The Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated SoC chip for mobile application. We work with Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize and support QTIs products. Major Responsibilities Engineer will be responsible for characterization and developing cost-effective manufacturing test solution for IO within Qualcomm leading-edge SoC products in the most advanced processes. Engineer will be developing Characterization and Test Plans, identifying DFT and test hardware requirements, ATE tests/routines/programs to execute test plans, driving first silicon debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries, performing technical data analysis of parametric performance, driving failure analysis to completion, analysing high volume manufacturing yields and driving test time reduction. Engineer with be working with IC design, system engineering and Hardware applications engineering in a time critical environment across the globe. The individual selected for the position, needs to be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, enthusiastic to work as well as be passionate about delivering quality work. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. New Grad to 5-year experience. Preferred Qualifications Strong working ATE knowledge (Advantest 93K ATE is preferred). Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal and VLSI. Knowledge on IO pad is preferred. Experience working in both Windows and Unix/Linux operating system. Knowledge of computer programming fundamentals (Java, C/C++, Perl, Visual basic, Python, etc). Knowledge of IO pad design, DC parameters testing and characterization across different IO (including DDRIO and HSIO) is a plus. Knowledge of statistical concepts, analysis, and techniques. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Independent, initiative, and ability to overcome technical challenges. Good organization and documentation skills. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
