Successful candidates will be required to be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan upon joining Qualcomm. ### ### Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field. ### Job Description ​: Product Development and Test Engineering (PDTE) plays a critical role in bringing Qualcomm’s digital SoC and chiplet products from early silicon through high‑volume manufacturing. Qualcomm is hiring engineers interested in Product Engineering (PE), Test Development Engineering (TE) and Machine Learning Engineer (ML) roles who are excited to work on complex silicon products, collaborate with global teams, and grow careers through international assignments in Taiwan or Singapore. These roles offer end‑to‑end exposure across silicon validation, test development, product qualification, and manufacturing enablement, supporting advanced technologies at scale. ## Technical Areas Covered ○ ATE‑Based Test Domains: * HSIO * CPU * CPR * DDR / DRAM * RF ○ Test Methodologies: * MBIST * ATPG * Integration for ATE ○ System & Manufacturing Test: * System‑Level Test * Test Plan Ownership ○ Software & Data: * AI Software Development * AI Data Engineering ○ Product Engineering: * Silicon Validation to High‑Volume Manufacturing ## Role Focus Areas ### Product Engineering (PE) Focus * Own product readiness from silicon validation through high‑volume manufacturing * Collaborate with SoC Design, System, Software, and Test teams on ATE, SLT, and bench validation * Drive power, performance, and quality metrics, including test coverage and product qualification * Support HVM test solutions, reliability qualification, and cross‑functional risk management * Lead technical communication, project execution, and stakeholder alignment across regions ### Test Development Engineering (TE) Focus * Develop and validate SoC and chiplet test solutions supporting NPI and manufacturing * Own and debug structural, functional, high‑speed, and characterization tests * Improve test coverage, yield, efficiency, and cost on advanced technology nodes * Analyze test and yield data to drive continuous quality improvement * Collaborate closely with DFT, Design, Yield, Reliability, Product, and Manufacturing teams Depending on background and business needs, candidates may start in one focus area and grow across both PE and TE domains over time. ### Machine Learning & Generative AI Engineer (ML) Focus * Design, develop, and deploy production-grade machine learning and AI solutions * Analyze large-scale engineering datasets to identify opportunities for AI-driven optimization and automation * Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models for prediction, classification, anomaly detection, and decision support * Build AI-powered applications, LLM-based solutions, and agentic workflows to improve engineering productivity * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and engineering requirements into scalable software and AI systems ## Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field * Interest or experience in SoC, chiplet, or semiconductor product development * Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java, or similar) * Comfortable working in a cross‑functional, global engineering environment * Willingness to relocate to Taiwan or Singapore for long‑term assignments * Ability to communicate effectively in English for technical collaboration Exposure to one or more of the following areas: * Silicon validation or product engineering * Test development (structural, functional, system, or manufacturing test) * ATE, SLT, or bench testing environments * Data analysis related to test, yield, performance, or reliability ## Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through High‑Volume Manufacturing (HVM) * Background in SoC‑ or chiplet‑based architectures, including multi‑die or D2D concepts * Hands‑on experience with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne) * Familiarity with structural test methodologies (e.g., ATPG, MBIST) or system‑level validation * Experience with test, yield, or data analytics tools (e.g., JMP, Exensio, O+, or similar) * Exposure to product reliability qualification or power and performance validation * Experience working on advanced or leading‑edge technology nodes * Strong collaboration skills and interest in working across regions and disciplines ## Why Join Qualcomm You will work on industry‑defining technology, gain broad technical exposure, and build a global engineering career with opportunities to grow across Product and Test domains while working alongside world‑class teams.
