## Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: Senior staff engineer (driver) Job function: Software Development Engineer Skills/experience: 10-15 years’ experience in video domain (preferred) Strong C programming skills. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Experience in several of the following areas: (Good to have) \- Linux device driver development and debugging * Upstream driver experience \- Familiarity with fundamentals like caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc. \- Knowledge of video specification such as H.265/H.264/VP8/VP9 \- Expertise in working with tools and techniques used on Linux (Windbg, JTAG, etc.) \- ARM or other embedded SoC development and debugging Responsibilities: Part of video development team and will be responsible for design, development, optimization and productize video use cases on Linux mobile platforms. Education requirements: BE\BTECH\ME\MTECH in EC\EE\CS or related field from reputed college\institution Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. • 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
