Shift: First Shift | Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-3:00 PM (Occasional Saturday Overtime)
Job Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: From $22.00/hour (Higher starting pay available based on experience.)

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Technician to manufacture and assemble custom architectural and miscellaneous metal products. This position requires experience reading fabrication drawings, welding, and operating shop equipment to produce quality metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Fabricate and assemble railings, stair systems, ladders, and other miscellaneous metal products.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, job travelers, and fabrication specifications.
  • Perform layout, measuring, cutting, fitting, welding, grinding, and finishing operations.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including saws, shears, press brakes, welding machines, and other shop tools.
  • Verify completed work meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain production schedules while producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Work with supervisors, engineers, and fabrication team members to complete assigned projects.
  • Identify fabrication issues and assist in developing practical solutions.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety requirements.
  • Adapt to changing production priorities and move between projects as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in miscellaneous metals fabrication, architectural metals, or similar fabrication work.
  • Proficiency with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW); welding certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and shop documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Team-oriented with the flexibility to support multiple production priorities.
  • Willingness to work on different projects to meet production deadlines.
  • Indoor fabrication shop with exposure to welding fumes, dust, paint vapors, exhaust, and industrial noise.
  • Frequent work around moving machinery, powered equipment, and electrical hazards.
  • Regular use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection, and appropriate work clothing.
  • Long pants are required while working on the shop floor.
  • Availability for overtime and occasional weekend work when production demands require it.
